Job summary

CoStar Group in Arlington, VA is seeking an HR Reporting Analyst to join the HR Technology & Reporting team. You will deliver accurate workforce insights through Workday reporting, Power BI dashboards, and scalable reporting processes.

You will independently manage HR reporting for moderate complexity, transform data, create dashboards, and provide actionable recommendations to HR leaders. This role reports to the Vice President of HR Technology and Reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, data science, information systems, mathematics, HR, business administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, workforce analytics, HR analytics, or related analytical role.
• Experience managing sensitive and confidential data.
• Hands-on experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, Workday reporting, or similar BI tools.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying patterns, trends, and data quality issues.
• Experience using AI-driven analytics tools to support reporting automation and data validation.
• Experience in data integration and governance practices with awareness of data protection regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Independently analyze moderately complex and large workforce data from HR sources.
• Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports in Workday, Power BI, and Excel.
• Collect, clean, transform, and validate HR data for reliable reporting.
• Identify patterns and correlations and summarize findings for HR stakeholders.
• Suggest new data sources and methods to improve data collection and reporting.
• Create efficient queries and reporting outputs to meet data requests.
