Qualifications

• One year of experience in technical human resource duties.
• Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Staff Guidance: supervise, assign, review work and provide training to a Human Resource Assistant; explain hiring procedures and assist agency teams.
• Personnel Record Oversight: maintain, update and ensure confidentiality, security and integrity of personnel records.
• Hiring Process Management: prepare, review and process personnel actions and related documentation; conduct research and provide recommendations.
• Policy Guidance: interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Recruitment Support: coordinate job postings and outreach; represent the agency at job fairs; collaborate with external partners to enhance recruitment.
• Applicant Assistance: respond to inquiries from applicants and the public; help current employees with promotion applications and related actions
