Summary

Tide Partnership are excited to be working with a respected Health and Social care provider who are looking to grow their people function by recruiting an experienced HR Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and capable HR professional to join an organisation committed to delivering high-quality care, while ensuring consistent, fair, and values-led people practices.

The Role

As the HR Advisor, you will be instrumental in providing first-line HR support across a multi-site region. You’ll take ownership of employee relations casework, advise managers on HR policies and employment law, and play a vital role in coaching and upskilling people leaders. This is a hands-on role where you’ll also manage your own HR admin, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing timely and practical advice
  2. Manage a caseload of employee relations cases – including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance issues
  3. Support and coach managers to become more confident in people leadership
  4. Maintain accurate documentation and take ownership of your HR admin
  5. Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with employment law
  6. Liaise with internal stakeholders and legal teams on more complex cases
  7. Support recruitment and onboarding processes as needed
Benefits Include
  1. Remote working with autonomy over your region
  2. Mileage and travel expenses covered
  3. Opportunity to join a values-led organisation
  4. Exposure to complex and varied HR work
  5. Career development opportunities
Travel Requirements

Due to the nature of the role and organisation, the successful candidate will need to be able to travel on an occasional basis across the South East region. Ideally, you’ll be based in or near Hertfordshire to support services in that area. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Essential Criteria
  1. Experience in a busy HR Advisor or similar role
  2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  3. Confident managing a variety of employee relations cases
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  5. Driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Desirable Criteria
  1. Experience working across multi-site or remote teams
  2. Background in healthcare, social care, or similar regulated environments
  3. CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards)
  4. Experience coaching and developing line managers
