Job summary

Warrior Met Coal is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to support HR and payroll functions at the Brookwood, AL site. This role works closely with the HR Manager and operations supervisors to maintain a compliant, safe, and productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of HR/payroll experience, and familiarity with Workday HRIS and MS Office. A high school diploma is required, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of human resources or payroll experience
• SHRM/PHR certification preferred but not required
• Experience with Workday HRIS; proficient in MS Office
• Strong communication and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Consults with management, providing professional HR assistance to employees
• Analyzes trends and metrics with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
• Assists with scheduling mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments
• Assists with planning and execution of benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events
• Performs payroll, benefits, and leave administration; handles inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
