Job summary

URBN in Reno, NV is seeking an HR Administrator to support onboarding, policy adherence, and site-level HR initiatives. You will collaborate with leaders and Talent Acquisition to facilitate hiring, training, and engagement programs while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

This role handles data management for onboarding, assists with I-9 verification and Kronos updates, provides frontline HR support on policies and timekeeping, and helps organize associate activities

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Excel.
  • Experience with UKG/Kronos is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and regulations while supporting onboarding, engagement, and development at the site level.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders and talent acquisition teams to facilitate hiring, onboarding, training, and HR initiatives at the site level.
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership and employees, fostering a positive work culture aligned with URBN's core values.
  • Assist with onboarding data management, including I-9 verification and Kronos updates.
  • Provide frontline HR support to employees on policies, My URBN, timekeeping, benefits, and pay inquiries.
  • Conduct floor walks to engage with employees and address concerns in real-time.
  • Coordinate associate and leadership engagement activities, including One URBN initiatives with HR generalists and site ops.
  • Monitor HR drop box and shared inbox, responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Update employee boards with relevant information and policy updates.
  • Stay current with laws and regulations to ensure HR practices comply locally, state, and federally.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities
  • The HR Administrator holds a crucial role in ensuring adherence to HR policies and regulations while actively supporting employee onboarding, engagement, and development at the site level.
  • Collaborates closely with operational leaders and talent acquisition teams to facilitate hiring, onboarding, training, and various HR initiatives at the site level.
  • Serves as a liaison between leadership and employees, fostering a positive work culture consistent with URBN's core values.
  • Assist with pre & post-orientation tasks, such as new hire onboarding data management, including I-9 verification, Kronos updates.
  • Provide frontline support to employees by addressing inquiries and requests related to policies, My URBN, timekeeping, benefits, and pay.
  • Conduct floor walks frequently to engage with employees and address any concerns in real-time.
  • Organize and communicate associate and leadership engagement activities, including facilitating One URBN initiatives in partnership with the HR generalists and site operations administrator.
  • Monitor HR drop box, manage shared email inbox, and respond to employee inquiries promptly.
  • Update employee boards as needed to ensure employees are informed of relevant information and policy updates.
  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring HR policies and practices adhere to all local, state, and federal legal requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree Preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, and Excel
  • working knowledge of human resources processes and HRIS applications; experience with UKG/Kronos is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle highly confidential HR information with sensitivity and utmost accuracy
  • Comprehend and follow work instructions to meet productivity and quality standards
