Job summary

Reunion Resort and Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an HR Assistant to be the first point of contact for employees and applicants, delivering a professional and welcoming experience while supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.

You will manage HRIS data, maintain confidential records, draft communications, coordinate new hire orientation, and assist with employee engagement and events. Bilingual English/Spanish is required; proficiency with MS Office and Canva is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of HR experience; resort experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; daily use in both languages.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS, MS Office, Canva; Paycom experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees, applicants, guests, and visitors, providing professional and welcoming service.
• Support recruiting efforts by scheduling interviews, assisting applicants, and coordinating hiring-related activities.
• Prepare new hire and orientation materials and assist with the coordination of New Hire Orientation.
• Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team, including correspondence, data entry, filing, and document preparation.
• Process employment verifications and assist with employee-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and organized HR records while ensuring strict confidentiality of employee information.
• Assist with employee communications, including newsletters, flyers, announcements, bulletin boards, and recruiting displays.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and company-sponsored events.
• Maintain HR office supplies, forms, name badges, and other departmental materials.
• Assist HR leadership with special projects and other administrative needs as assigned.
