Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Functional Lead for our Safe & Secure team at HQ to supervise associates, shape security policies, and ensure safety across facilities. You will coach staff, manage incidents, implement risk assessments, and drive process improvements while partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record in physical security or loss prevention.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in physical security operations and/or loss prevention.
• 1+ years experience directly supervising/managing a team.
• Strong coaching and communication with diverse stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team and identify areas to improve.
• Lead incident management and risk assessments for HQ facilities.
• Coach and develop team members to uphold Carvana’s standards.
• Ensure safety by monitoring policies, procedures and performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain security operations.
• Record incidents and conduct after-action reviews for continuous improvement.
