Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing America, located in Lancaster, PA, is seeking an Analyst I to prepare and analyze environmental samples following EPA methodologies in compliance with QA programs.

The role includes routine lab tasks, data recording, instrument maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. Training may occur offsite at the Richmond, VA facility. Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm, pay $21-23/hr.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years lab exp may substitute for degree.
• Lab experience helpful
• Production-oriented work helpful (deadlines)
• Willingness to train in Richmond, VA

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples using standard techniques.
• Perform chemical analyses using standard techniques.
• Calculate and record data; report unusual test occurrences.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance.
• Maintain safety and quality standards as per QA programs.
• Washes glassware and handles aliquots.
