Job summary

Lancaster Laboratories is seeking an experienced scientist for full-time work in the San Diego area. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of quantitative analytical HPLC experience and will conduct routine lab experiments with accuracy and reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field and US work authorization. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analytical HPLC experiments and routine lab work.
• Conduct routine experiments (HPLC, DSC, PXRD, solubility determinations, dissolution testing).
• Follow procedures reliably and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Demonstrate strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills; work independently or in a team.

Job Description

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• 2+ years of quantitative analytical HPLC experience
• Experience conducting routine laboratory experiments e.g. HPLC, DSC, PXRD spectroscopy, solubility determinations, dissolution testing, suspension processing, etc. in a timely and productive manner with consistent quality output.
• Ability to follow procedures reliably and consistently and ability to recognize and elevate relevant issues as appropriate
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, andapositive attitude
