Job Description
The Ideal Candidate would possess:

• 3 years of scientific leadership experience
• Experience conducting routine laboratory experiments e.g. HPLC, DSC, PXRD spectroscopy, solubility determinations, dissolution testing, suspension processing, etc. in a timely and productive manner with consistent quality output.
• Ability to follow procedures reliably and consistently and ability to recognize and elevate relevant issues as appropriate
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail, ability to lead and train team members, and a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Chemistry or other related degree concentration
• 3-4 years of related leadership experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

The position is full-time, on-site. Overtime will be required on a rotational basis to cover weekend Bioreactor sampling and occasional off-shift operations. Candidates living within a commutable distance of La Jolla, CA and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
