Nemak is seeking a Tooling Engineer in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to develop, design, build and maintain HPDC tooling schedules. This role requires CAD expertise, flow-simulation awareness, and strong problem-solving to meet production targets.

You will work with cross-functional teams to improve tooling efficiency, manage budgets and PPAP activities, and ensure high-quality dies with maintained revision control of CAD data.

Formación

• Associates degree required; Journeyman toolmaker experience desirable.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient in CAD.
• Die design experience.
• Flow simulation software desirable but not required.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor tooling downtime and dimensional data to design solutions for uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve filling, thermal balance, venting, cost and die life.
• Create, modify and maintain revision control of tool CAD, prints and spare parts.
• Manage quoting, procuring, costs, tool build, cavity replacement and other die components; lead design reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
