Job summary

NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC²) in Dallas, TX seeks an HPC Systems Engineer to design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure for large-scale AI/HPC. You will work across compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, automation, and data center teams to minimize integration risk and improve platform coherence.

You will lead architecture reviews, define standards, and ensure performance, scalability, and operational readiness while mentoring engineers and driving cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in systems engineering, HPC, cloud infra, or data center infra.
• Deep expertise in at least one infra domain with broad cross-domain knowledge.
• Familiar with AI/HPC platforms, GPU compute, fabric and scheduling.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-domain alignment across compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and data center infra.
• Lead design reviews for HPC deployments and platform expansions.
• Identify dependencies, scalability constraints, and integration risks.
• Define end-to-end architecture and implementation readiness criteria.
• Ensure performance, resiliency, and long-term operability.
• Collaborate with automation teams to improve deployment consistency.
