Job summary

Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) invites undergraduate students to join NSA's LPS Advanced Computing Systems team for a 10-week summer internship in Catonsville, MD. The Future Computing Summer Internship (FCSI) exposes participants to High-Performance Computing and related HPC challenges.

Participants will work under NSA researchers, gain exposure to HPC tasks, benchmarking, AI, and physics, and receive a weekly stipend.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as an undergraduate at a US institution and graduating Spring 2028 or later.
• Strong foundations in math and programming relevant to HPC.
• Interest in High-Performance Computing and related HPC areas.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with NSA researchers on HPC problems.
