WIGSAT - Women Inspiring Girls in STEM, Advancement & Training, in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, invites graduate students to a ten-week paid research experience in quantum computing and related areas.
The program covers hybrid algorithms, scientific applications and computing architectures with a $950 weekly stipend plus $250 per week toward housing and travel reimbursement up to $1,000 for those living more than 50 miles away.
A ten-week paid research experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory run by the Quantum Science Center for graduate students in quantum computing and quantum computer science. Projects span hybrid algorithms, scientific applications and computing architectures. Interns receive a stipend of $950 per week plus $250 per week toward housing, with travel reimbursement up to $1,000 for those living more than 50 miles from the laboratory. Applicants must be enrolled full time at a QSC partner institution with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
