Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 2 to support the integration and operation of software within high-performance computing (HPC) environments. This role focuses on mission operations infrastructure, including automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency of systems supporting critical workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (5 additional years of experience may substitute)
• Minimum 6 years of experience supporting software integration in Linux-based environments
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent)
• Strong experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu) and scripting/programming (Python, Bash, C)
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and infrastructure tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and maintain COTS and GOTS software in heterogeneous environments
• Support HPC systems and applications to ensure continuous mission operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and configuration issues across Linux-based platforms
• Support infrastructure automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency efforts
• Assist with customer use case configuration and issue resolution
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or C
• Utilize automation frameworks such as Salt and Ansible
• Maintain monitoring and alerting systems (Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Use version control tools such as Git-based repositories (e.g., Gitbucket)
• Collaborate with teams using Jira, Confluence, and Slurm for workload management
