Job summary

TAP Engineering is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to support the integration, deployment, and operation of software across multi-vendor HPC servers, clusters, and specialized processing environments. You’ll work across operating systems, scheduling platforms, monitoring tools, and automation technologies to ensure software and systems work together reliably in a complex technical environment.

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (most recent poly within the last 7 years).
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Perl/JavaScript.
• Experience with HPC, distributed computing, or parallel processing.
• Familiarity with Slurm HPC scheduler.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, install, configure, and troubleshoot software across HPC systems.
• Develop and maintain Bash, Python, Perl, or JavaScript automation scripts.
• Support Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE) and HPC scheduling.
• Configure HPC scheduling, resource management, and parallel processing.
• Work with Slurm, Lustre, WEKA, VMware, InfiniBand, NVIDIA platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve integration and performance issues.
• Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting activities.
