Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer 2 to design, implement, and maintain system management infrastructure for HPC on Linux. You will contribute to automation, deployment orchestration, and secure access control, working within an Agile environment.

You should have strong Linux experience, Bash/Python scripting, and CI/CD practice using GitLab CI. Collaboration with a team focused on mission-critical solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Python/Bash scripting to automate tasks.
• Ansible for deployment orchestration.
• Developing authentication/authorization for HPC Linux systems.
• Basic Linux administration incl. user/group management.
• CI/CD principles and GitLab CI usage.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies.
• Git source control usage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system management infrastructure software for HPC in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable services.
• Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
