Job summary

AMD in New Jersey is seeking a Rack Level Reliability engineer to ensure the highest quality of servers and racks for HPC/AI applications. You will lead bring-up, debugging, and baseline tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve failures.

The role emphasizes scripting (Python/Unix), reliability testing, data analysis, and clear communication of results to customers and stakeholders. Bachelor's in EE or CS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with reliability testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform incoming servers/racks bring-up, debugging and baseline function tests.
• Support/develop scripting for server work-load stressing per specific applications.
• Drive and execute reliability testing activities, including, chamber set-up, server instrumentation, environmental profile validation, and testing monitoring.
• Report out testing results/issues, and drive cross-team discussion to resolve/prevent failures and improve product performance.
• Support/generate customer-facing summary document.
• Collaborate with other development teams and stakeholders to ensure products meet customer expectations.
