Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a Research Cyberinfrastructure Engineer, UNLV Research [R0152643]. The role focuses on building and maintaining cyberinfrastructure to support data-intensive research, teaching, and workforce development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years in higher education or research computing.
• Experience in systems administration, especially HPC environments.
• Ability to translate research challenges into technical solutions and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain HPC hardware and software.
• Monitor performance and optimize computational efficiency.
• Provide support to researchers using HPC resources.
