Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3+ years in HPC engineering or systems design.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux internals, distributed systems, and HPC software stacks.
• Experience with HPC tech such as parallel file systems, schedulers, and Infiniband/Ethernet networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and operate UMD's HPC resources across Linux platforms.
• Collaborate with the HPC team and campus constituencies to understand computing needs.
• Present at national conferences like SuperComputing and PEARC; engage with industry HPC providers.
