HPC & AI System Test Engineer - Experienced

Job Description:

Our organization includes high-performance computing (HPC) server platforms, networking, storage, and software solutions. The HPC Integrated Systems Test (IST) team seeks a Systems Engineering Manager with a background in computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or related fields to lead a team of 20 engineers. With new AI market opportunities, IST is looking for a creative, adaptable individual to lead in this rapidly evolving market and support HPE XD product offerings. This role involves providing operational direction, leadership, and mentoring to a growing team of early-career engineers, supported by experienced staff.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with Industry Standard Server, Storage, and Networking products.
• Experience with certification of major Operating Systems (Linux: Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE, etc.).
• Ability to work with product development teams to understand new features and design appropriate test plans.
• Experience working with third-party vendors and engineering teams to track issues and solutions.
• Ability to manage diverse testing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and schedules.

• Collaborate with Program & Product Management to understand testing needs.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver quality HPC systems.
• Track development issues with vendors and engineering teams.
• Manage multiple test tasks effectively.
• Respond to changing requirements and schedules.
• Design and develop test plans with product teams.

About you:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience.
• Experience with XD, Apollo, Industry Standard Server, Storage, and Networking products.
• Proficiency with Linux OS (Ubuntu, RHEL, SUSE).
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, hardware/software interactions, and architecture.
• Programming or scripting skills (Python, Perl, Linux Shell).
• Experience with test automation, debugging, and scripting.
• Excellent communication skills in English and local language.
• Knowledge of Redfish commands, RESTful API, JSON, storage devices, and networking concepts.
