Job Details
  • Position: System Test Engineer
  • Type: Full Time Remote (Must be located within a 20-mile radius of San Antonio, TX)
  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI (contingent upon contract award)
Responsibilities

Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.

Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing test documents, developing procedures, performing various types of manual and automated software testing (unit, integration, functional, end-to-end).

Performs other technical and/or test-related duties as required. Requires expertise in the specialty area.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in the functional area; Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
  • 5 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages, with familiarity with DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
  • Recent and relevant experience in system testing and documentation.
  • 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
  • 3 years of experience using Agile Test-Driven Development.
  • Practical experience testing and analyzing Restful interfaces.
  • Experience developing in a cloud environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
