Job Description:

Location: 2301 Renaissance Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406

Design, develop, and execute test automation suites for one or more products of Vertex’s payroll tax calculation software. Develop test strategies, analyze requirements, and define the configuration of test environments to facilitate testing needs. Design, develop, and maintain new or existing test automation frameworks. Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving process efficiency through innovative solutions or industry best practices. Strategize, plan, estimate work, and provide periodic status reports on project milestones. Troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Provide technical support and knowledge to other engineers. Support the project team in all testing efforts and assist the Test Architect or Lead in promoting best practices.

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Sciences and Technology, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in testing large-scale applications and web services.
• 4 years of experience designing and building low-maintenance, robust, and scalable automation frameworks.
• 4 years of experience using Python or Java for automation support.
• 4 years of experience with Microsoft Visual Development Suite.
• 3 years of experience with API test automation using SOAP or REST and UI automation using Selenium or similar tools.
• 3 years of experience developing and maintaining test automation suites and frameworks.
• 3 years of experience in Agile development methodologies.
• 2 years of experience using GitHub automation frameworks for testing.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the continental U.S.
