Job summary

Axiom Space in Houston is seeking an Electronics Production Technician to assemble and test electrical hardware from development to flight. This onsite role at the Gemini facility in Webster, TX requires reading electrical drawings, fabricating wire harnesses, and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure space-grade quality.

Applicants should have an Associate degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of hands-on electronics experience, with NASA/IPC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required; 5 years hands-on electronics technician experience preferred.
• Board-, system-, and spacecraft-level electronics experience with fabrication, assembly and testing.
• Certifications in NASA IPC/JSxxxxx standards or equivalent are required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and integrate prototype and space-rated avionics hardware.
• Fabricate avionics wire harnesses, terminations, connectors, and related components.
• Read electrical drawings/diagrams and ensure accurate wiring layouts and problem solving.
• Communicate progress and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support agile project management practices throughout the lifecycle.
