Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking an Electronics Technician to assemble, test, and validate electrical hardware from development through flight. The role is onsite at our Gemini facility in Webster, TX, reporting to the AxEVA AI&T manager, and requires collaboration across engineering teams and leadership.

The candidate will read electrical drawings, fabricate harnesses, and train junior staff while applying agile project management practices to ensure timely, high-quality avionics delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; commercial or military aircraft experience preferred.
• Minimum 10 years hands-on electronics technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and integrate prototype, qualification, and space-rated avionics hardware.
• Fabricate avionics wire harnesses, terminations, connectors, and related components.
• Read and understand electrical drawings and diagrams of avionics systems and wiring layouts.
• Train less experienced technicians to perform standard electronic tasks.
• Interact with engineering disciplines and management in a professional team environment.
• Communicate project progress, status, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
