Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years’ related experience or training or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical practices and terminology.
• Ability to self-manage and assist co-workers as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently navigates the scheduling system and case entry.
• Sets daily schedule and manages operations with minimal supervision.
• Completes daily summaries and check-outs independently.
• Communicates with providers, surgeons, and facilities regarding schedules.
• Trains new scheduling staff as assigned by management.
• Maintains master calendars and holiday call schedules.
