Job summary

Atlas Copco Houston Product Company seeks a Production Manager to lead the full production lifecycle of compressed air and dryer packages, directing plant operations to maximize productivity while upholding strict quality, safety, and environmental standards.

You will coordinate planning, assembly, testing, painting, and fabrication, drive lean improvements, manage annual budgets, and report performance with corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline preferred, equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize the full production lifecycle for compressed air and dryer packages.
• Direct plant operations to maximize productivity while upholding quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and control planning, assembly, testing, painting, and fabrication processes.
• Develop, manage, and oversee annual operations budget including costs, staffing, and capital investments.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives, improve labor productivity, and optimize material flow and equipment utilization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and engineering to align production with market needs.
• Provide production reporting, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain plant infrastructure, safety compliance (OSHA) and security responsibilities.
