Job summary

LJA Land Development in the Houston area seeks a Platting Coordinator to manage the plat submittal and approval process for multiple projects. You will coordinate with consultants, engineering teams and clients to keep schedules and budgets on track, and you may provide basic land planning expertise as needed.

The role requires 5–10 years in subdivision platting, familiarity with Houston agencies, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Project. Supervision of a project team may be involved.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in the Subdivision Platting industry, with surveying or engineering firms.
• /nExperience with local Houston area agencies.
• /nProficiency with Word, Excel and Project software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple platting projects in the Houston area through submittal and approvals.
• Represent projects with governmental agencies and present plat approval applications to staff and commissions.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineering teams and clients to manage schedules and budgets.
• Provide basic land planning and platting expertise when needed.
• Supervise and lead project teams as required.
