LJA Engineering, Inc. in Katy, TX is seeking a Plating Coordinator I in Land Development to manage the plat submittal and approval process for projects in the Houston area. You will coordinate with consultants, clients, and agencies to keep schedules and budgets on track.

Requires 5–10 years in subdivision platting, strong organization, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word, Excel, and Project. Associates or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience dealing directly in the Subdivision Platting industry.
• Experience with local Houston-area agencies.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Project; AutoCAD Civil 3D knowledge.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple projects within the Houston area from plat submittal to approval.
• Collaborate with consultants, engineering teams, and clients to manage schedules and budgets.
• Provide basic land planning and platting expertise when needed.
• Represent projects with governmental agencies and present plats to staff and councils.
• Work with a team and potentially supervise others.
