Service Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, seeks a Plant Manager in Houston, TX. The role oversees end-to-end manufacturing and distribution operations, from procurement to order fulfillment, while maintaining safety, quality standards, inventory accuracy, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include managing daily manufacturing, overseeing warehouse and inventory management, and leading logistics strategies to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience and the ability to motivate teams across manufacturing and distribution.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in both manufacturing and distribution.
• Ability to optimize supply chain operations including material planning and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations at the Culloden plant, coordinating workflow to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost plans.
• Oversee warehouse and inventory management, ensuring space utilization, material flow, and stock accuracy.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize freight costs, carrier performance, and outbound shipping efficiencies.
• Lead daily production and logistics meetings, maintain visual performance boards, and track progress against goals.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, warehouse safety standards, and company policies.
