Job summary

Mexcor, located in Houston, TX, seeks a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to manage day-to-day payroll and benefits within the Shared Services Team. The role requires knowledge of HR, payroll, and benefits processes, ensuring accurate processing, record keeping, and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the position supports employees with benefits questions, maintains records, and collaborates with HR to improve processes and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in payroll preferred
• Bilingual Spanish and English highly preferred
• Payroll certification (HRCI/SHRM) preferred
• Strong PC application skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and professionally

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll processing and ensure timely pay runs
• Handle benefits administration including ACA, 401(k) and HSA coordination
• Prepare and file payroll taxes and compliance documents
• Respond to employee benefits questions and coordinate open enrollment
• Maintain accurate employee records and open government reporting as needed
