Orion Marine Group is seeking an Accountant to provide accounting and financial reporting support at our Houston, TX location. You will assist with month-end close, quarterly SEC filings, reconciliations, and ad hoc projects while upholding our safety, quality, and integrity standards.

The role requires a B.S. in Accounting with 4+ years of experience in accounting functions, including experience with lease and revenue recognition under ASC 842/606.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Accounting or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting standards.

• Support month-end close and financial reporting for current construction projects.
• Prepare journal entries and month/year-end closes with accuracy.
• Assist with audits and SOX controls compliance.
