Job summary

Lynd Management Group in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations and financial performance of a multifamily property.

Lead the on-site team, manage leasing, renewals, budgeting, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and company policies. Develop marketing strategies to increase occupancy and maintain property standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of property management or related operations experience.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Familiarity with multifamily operations, leasing, collections, budgeting, and resident relations.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and housing laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• RealPage OneSite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, motivate, and develop the on-site team.
• Oversee leasing, renewals, occupancy, collections, and resident retention.
• Monitor budget, revenue, expenses, and financial performance.
• Prepare operational, financial, and owner reports.
• Partner with maintenance for service requests and apartment readiness.
• Inspect apartments, amenities, and common areas.
• Develop marketing strategies to increase traffic and occupancy.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, policies and safety procedures.
• Manage vendors, invoices, and property improvement projects.
• Use property management systems to monitor performance.
• Communicate with leadership, clients, residents, and departments.
