Job summary

Uncommon Elite seeks a General Manager to own the Houston market, the largest and most important business unit. You will lead day-to-day execution, ensure top-notch service delivery, and act as the in-market leader for a high-performing recurring revenue operation.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, good judgment, and the ability to grow into broader ownership. This role requires hands-on oversight and a track record of improving operational performance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in operations or field-services environments.
• Strong people management and accountability.
• Comfortable leading frontline teams in a hands-on setting.
• Ability to balance structure with independent judgment.
• Clear communication with customers, team, and leadership.
• Experience blending operations with customer-facing or sales support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations of the Houston business unit.
• Lead truck operators and field personnel to ensure safe, high-quality service.
• Drive accountability and performance across the team.
• Maintain culture, communication, and operational discipline.
• Handle customer service issues, escalations, and cancellations promptly.
• Support key customer relationships and senior leadership meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to execute priorities and improvements.
• Apply EOS tools, SOPs, and processes to ensure consistency.
• Monitor KPIs to ensure service, retention, and performance targets.
