Job summary

Engineers and Constructors International Inc. in Houston seeks an IT Ops Engineer- Trader Support to provide on-floor IT support to Traders and Front Office staff, handling desktop services, trading apps, and networking in real time.

The role supports Windows, MS Office, Exchange, AD, and trading systems, coordinating with Global Helpdesk and vendors. It is a 10-month contract with an anticipated start mid-September 2026 and requires US citizenship or permanent residency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/MIS or equivalent.
• 5+ years desktop/infrastructure support experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Exchange and AD.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
• Familiarity with market data feeds (Reuters/Bloomberg).
• Scripting/tools: PowerShell, VBA, Java, Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level IT floor support for hardware, networking, and trading apps.
• Support Windows/M365, Exchange, AD, and trading platforms for Traders.
• Coordinate with Global Helpdesk, Trading Delivery, and vendors.
• Maintain security/compliance practices and assist in tool deployments.
• Adapt to evolving technical needs to better support business.
