Job summary

Engineers and Constructors International Inc. seeks a hands-on Sr DevOps Engineer for Trading & Supply to join a global derivatives trading environment. Based in Houston, this contract role runs about six months with a July 3, 2026 start.

You will manage end-to-end workflows, troubleshoot across development and support, and contribute to trading system reliability. Strong scripting and FIX engineering experience are essential; US citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Front Office application support and vendor management.
• 8+ years of FIX protocol engineering experience.
• Proficient in scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, C#, and SQL.
• Experience with trading lifecycle, market data distribution, and exchange certification.
• Knowledge of network protocols and messaging systems; TCP, multicast preferred.
• Ability to resolve incidents rapidly and operate in a global on-call team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end workflows are stable and resilient.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, support, and business users.
• Serve as SME for trading systems initiatives.
• Support scalable algorithmic trading tech in compliant and flexible ways.
• Participate in on-call rotations across global teams.
