Job summary

TMEIC Corporation is seeking a Product Development Manager in Houston, TX to lead an engineering team focused on power electronics and controls development. You will drive R&D investments, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with BU management to deliver products aligned with the Mid-Range Plan (MRP).

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience in power electronics, and a proven ability to manage large development budgets and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
• Master of science in electrical, electronic, or mechanical engineering preferred and beneficial.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing product development projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team to develop products for Business Units.
• Plan and monitor resource assignments and budgets for R&D projects.
• Research power electronics and tools and controls performance for strategic investments.
• Coordinate with parent company to obtain approvals and information on new products.
• Ensure team skills and training meet current and future needs per the MRP.
• Oversee project status updates to management and BU teams.
