Job summary

Capital Pump & Equipment is hiring an Operations Coordinator/Field Installer in Houston, TX. This hybrid role handles daily rental operations and on-site installation, requiring strong organization, problem-solving, and hands-on capability.

You will coordinate scheduling, maintenance, and logistics while delivering equipment and training customers. Ideal candidates have experience in equipment rental or related fields, excellent communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the equipment rental, construction, or logistics industry preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient computer skills; knowledge of Point of Rental is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate and transport equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting ability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, dispatching, and logistics for equipment rentals.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs with service teams.
• Track inventory availability and utilization.
• Deliver, set up, and install rental equipment at customer sites.
• Provide basic training and demonstrations for customers on safe equipment use.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during installation and transport.
