Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Hawaii is seeking a Laundry/Valet Attendant who delivers exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service. You will handle guest and staff items, operate laundry and valet equipment, and uphold the Golden Rule in every interaction.

Legal work authorization in the United States is required; a High School Diploma is preferred. The role offers on-site work with a competitive hourly rate and access to hotel amenities.

Responsibilities

• Sorts and processes guest clothing on appropriate equipment using correct chemicals and temperatures.
• Sorts employee uniforms and transports clean uniforms to Housekeeping.
• Operates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron.
• Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens.
• Sorts towels, rugs and robes; folds and places on racks.
• Operates and maintains valet equipment and reports issues.
• Assists with responsibilities in busy periods in Valet, Dry Cleaning or Housekeeping.

HOUSEKEEPING LAUNDRY/VALET ATTENDANT

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Laundry/Valet Attendant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Laundry/Valet Attendants have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

What You’ll Do

• Tags Guest items, sorts for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment using the appropriate chemicals and temperature. Once processed, folds or hangs the clothing as desired.
• Sorts employee uniforms for appropriate action (Washing, dry cleaning, pressing or repair) and then processes the clothing on the correct equipment using the appropriate chemicals and temperature. Once processed, hangs and transports clean uniforms to Housekeeping.
• Operates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, steam tunnel, presser and iron. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.
• Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate.
• Sorts clean towels, rugs and robes. Manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes. Places folded product on appropriate rack.
• Operates and maintains valet equipment. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Valet Dry Cleaning and Housekeeping.

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• High School Diploma preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English, working knowledge of iPod Touch device or similar hardware and applications.
