hrEdge Consulting is recruiting on behalf of AMA Consulting Group for a Housing Supervisor at the Chicago Housing Authority’s West Office . This opportunity is ideal for an experienced affordable housing leader who enjoys coaching staff, solving problems, and helping participants and landlords navigate the Housing Choice Voucher program.

You’ll oversee daily office operations, support staff performance, and resolve customer concerns. Your leadership will help keep cases moving, improve service delivery, and create a welcoming, professional environment for the people who rely on these services.

Location: Onsite at Chicago Housing Authority, West Office

Salary: $53,000–$58,500 annually

Reports to: Project Manager

Travel: Up to 10%, depending on project needs

What you’ll do

Lead the customer experience

Serve as AMA’s primary onsite contact for program participants, landlords, and visitors.

Provide clear, respectful guidance on program processes.

Resolve escalated concerns with empathy, sound judgment, and strong de-escalation skills.

Track customer issues through timely follow-up and resolution.

Keep office operations moving
