Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services is seeking a Rental Liaison for the Supportive Housing program. You will perform initial and ongoing financial assessments, coordinate rental calculations, and manage lease negotiations to secure subsidies for residents with serious mental illness and co-occurring disorders.

You will gather income verifications, liaise with landlords, and ensure adherence to rent standards while maintaining strict documentation for licensure and third-party payers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, or related human services field, or CPRP in Virginia.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and CANIS report required; agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

Aufgaben

• Provides initial and ongoing financial assessments for individuals in Supportive Housing.
• Coordinate financial aspects such as rental calculations and lease negotiations.
• Secure financial documentation to formulate accurate rental subsidies.
• Ensure housing rent reasonableness and fair market standards; liaise with landlords.
• Obtain income verification and engage individuals in re-evaluations per program guidelines.
• Issue rental violation notices, terminations and appeals as needed.
• Complete required documentation per licensure, Medicaid, managed care, and third-party payers.
• Comply with regulations applicable to program services.
