Northern Virginia Family Services in Virginia is seeking a Housing Locator to join the Community Housing team's Rental Subsidy & Services Program. You will help individuals and families experiencing homelessness identify and secure safe, affordable housing and navigate the rental process.

You will build relationships with landlords, coordinate with case managers, provide tenant education, and support successful placements.

Formación

• At least three years of experience in property/housing management or real estate.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• HQS Certification required within six months of hire if not already certified.
• Experience facilitating trainings and educational activities for groups.
• Experience providing direct services to individuals in crisis preferred.
• Fluent English; bilingual Spanish or other languages a plus; strong communication.

Responsabilidades

• Identify housing opportunities and support clients through searches, applications, and lease navigation.
• Collaborate with case managers to connect clients with rental assistance and housing resources.
• Establish and maintain relationships with landlords and housing providers.
• Provide renter education on tenant rights and responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with HQS and document housing contacts, inspections, and program records.
