Job summary

INTERLAKES COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Housing Stabilization Coach to help individuals and families who are homeless, near-homeless, or low-income move toward steady housing and self-sufficiency—fast, focused, and with heart.

You will provide housing stabilization coaching and case management, meet clients to assess needs and barriers, help them follow lease requirements, and connect them to community resources and partner organizations to lift daily functioning and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Social Work preferred.
Two (2) years of experience and/or training in human services/social work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Provide housing stabilization coaching and case management support.
Meet with applicants facing challenges such as finances, employment, food, clothing, housing, and physical/mental impairments to understand needs and barriers.
Help participants follow lease requirements and build the skills to maintain housing.
Connect clients to community resources and partner organizations.
