Job summary

Inter-lakes Community Action Partnership in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Housing Stabilization Coach to help individuals and families who are homeless or low-income move toward stable housing and self-sufficiency—fast, focused, and with heart.

You will provide housing stabilization coaching and case management, assess needs related to finances, employment, food, housing, and health, help clients meet lease requirements, and connect them with community resources to lift daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Social Work preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience and/or training in human services/social work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing stabilization coaching and case management support.
• Meet with applicants facing challenges such as finances, employment, food, clothing, housing, and physical/mental impairments to understand needs and barriers.
• Help participants follow lease requirements and build the skills to maintain housing.
• Connect clients to community resources and partner organizations.
