Job summary

California State University, Bakersfield seeks a Housing Coordinator to support Project Rebound students facing housing insecurity. The role connects students with housing resources, navigates rental assistance, and provides case management to secure stable housing.

You will collaborate with campus and community partners, develop outreach and educational workshops on housing stability, and track outcomes for grant reporting while ensuring culturally competent support.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college with two years of related experience.
• A master's degree may substitute one year of professional experience.
• Possession of a valid driver's license or ability to obtain by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one housing assistance and referrals to campus/community partners.
• Assist with rental assistance applications and eviction protection services.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop action plans for housing.
• Explain lease terms, tenant rights, and responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or related field
