Job summary

California State University, Bakersfield seeks a Project Rebound Housing Coordinator to provide housing navigation, rental assistance, and case management for students facing housing insecurity. You will connect students with campus and community resources, assess needs, and develop action plans to secure stable housing.

The role emphasizes outreach, collaboration with community partners, and data-driven program improvement within a 3-year grant project.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in one of the behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or job-related field and two (2) years of recent related experience.
• A master’s degree in a job-related field may be substituted for one year of the professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide housing assistance and referrals to campus/community partners to meet student needs.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop action plans for securing housing.
• Coordinate emergency housing placements following program guidelines.
• Track housing outcomes and prepare standard monthly/annual reports for leadership.
