Job summary
The California State University in Sonoma seeks a Project Rebound Advisor to provide comprehensive advisement, case management, and housing-support services to students who are currently or formerly incarcerated and experiencing housing insecurity. - Four-year college degree required in a related field; upper-division or graduate coursework in counseling, interviewing, and conflict resolution.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive advisement, case management, crisis response, outreach, and referral services to students who are currently or formerly incarcerated and facing housing insecurity.
- Assess student needs and develop individualized support plans to promote retention and academic success.
- Coordinate access to campus, community, and public assistance resources.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up to address barriers to retention, persistence, and well-being.
- Collaborate with university departments, community-based organizations, faculty, staff, and administrators to advocate for student success.
