Job summary

AMI Housing, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Housing Coordinator in Auburn, CA, to lead housing search support, case management, and service linkage for residents transitioning from homelessness to stable tenancy.

You will coordinate with the Director and Program Manager to evaluate housing options, assist with applications, and ensure ongoing support for up to 120 days post-placement. Ideal candidates have a social services background, strong organizational skills, and bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in social services for Associate level
• High school diploma with 4+ years in social services experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong data entry and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Prioritize housing needs and support individuals in housing searches
• Provide linkage to entitlements and community resources
• Maintain caseload and conduct weekly on-site visits
• Assist with preparation and submission of housing applications and subsidies
• Coordinate with partners to ensure housing retention and service linkage
• Enter case notes into HMIS and related data systems
• Develop individualized care plans addressing housing, finances, education, and health
