Job summary

AMI Housing, Inc. in Grass Valley, CA seeks a Housing Coordinator to assist individuals and families in securing housing with search support and linkage to services.

The role provides case management across housing projects, including post-placement follow-up and collaboration with county partners and service providers. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in social services (or high school diploma with 4 years related experience), and preferred English/Spanish bilingual

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with 2 years experience in a social services related field, OR a high school diploma and 4 years experience in a social service related field.
• Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Complete and pass pre-employment background checks (Fingerprints, drug and alcohol testing, TB Clearance and criminal background checks).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize engaging individuals and families in need of housing with search preparation and support during the housing search.
• Maintain a caseload and provide linkage to community resources and entitlements, including SOAR, Cal Fresh, CalWORKs.
• Provide ongoing case management for a minimum of 120 days after housing placement to ensure retention and linkage to services.
• Enter and maintain client notes in HMIS and coordinate with partners to support housing stability.
