Job summary

YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking a full‑time, Permanent Supportive Housing Case Manager to provide comprehensive case management and housing stabilization for individuals and families experiencing homelessness through HUD‑funded programs.

The role includes advocacy, crisis intervention, resources coordination, and documentation to promote long‑term housing stability. A driver’s license and clear background checks are required, with a rotating on‑call schedule and a 37.5 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field, or an Associate Degree with two years' experience, or an associate degree equivalent with four years' experience.
• In‑depth knowledge and understanding of the social welfare system.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving history, and reliable personal vehicle; insurability may be required.
• Current FBI, criminal, and child abuse clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and housing stabilization services to individuals with disabilities experiencing homelessness.
• Assess eligibility, develop service plans, and connect clients with community resources.
• Help clients secure and maintain safe, affordable housing while ensuring HUD and program compliance.
• Build partnerships with landlords and community agencies to support housing outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, case records, and grant reporting.
• Participate in community collaborations and on‑call rotation.

Education
